A half-truth or not but shopping is oftentimes labeled as a national sport in Singapore. A city with enormous range of shopping venues like Suntec City Mall, it is therefore not a surprise that shopping is an appealing activity for everyone.

Known as one of the largest shopping mall in Singapore, Suntec City Mall stretches to over 830,000 square feet of prime retail space with more than 350 retail outlets and 80 food & beverage establishments. It also hosts Carrefour, the largest hypermarket in Singapore.

Open in 1995, Suntec City Mall is nestled in the heart of Marina Bay and linked to the world class ‘Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre’. This mammoth mall is also very accessible by MRT and buses while most of the major hotels offer free shuttle bus.

Suntec City Mall is a frequent destination for tourists and locals alike because of its extensive gamut of choices from high-end international brands to budget product and wide range of food and beverage outlets from fast food, bars and pubs to specialized restaurants. You can also count on their entertainment facilities which offer 5-theatre Cineplex, fitness center and gaming arcade.

However, Suntec City Mall is not only famous for its shopping galore but for its magnificent Fountain of Wealth. Located in the Fountain Terrace zone, it holds the record of the world’s largest fountain in Guinness Book since 1998. It is now one of the most popular tourism icons in Singapore and tourists visit the place hoping to lay a hand on its lucky water.

Another remarkable feature of Suntec City Mall is the beautiful gardens located within the mall. A relaxing place to visit is the Koi Garden which is set in a beautiful Japanese-landscaped pond and the other haven of greenery is the Bonsai Garden which is inspired by the scenic China Suzhou Gardens.

What more you can ask in Suntec City Mall? Nothing. Simply shop ‘til you drop.
